Bachelor of Design (B.Des) program is conceived as a professional degree program for creative minds with talent and aptitude. The program aims in giving training to design and fabricate furniture systems and interior architecture of built environments in a creative manner. The program provides abundant opportunities to link it with local craft methods, user experience, styling and entrepreneurship. It also intends to encourage management of environmentally sensitive methods in design and construction. In the program, Our design studios are organized to embed industrial and international experiences to facilitate the design process through studio mentoring.
The course aims to educate students about the techniques and art of converting artistic talent and creativity in beautifying living spaces, involving choice and decoration of walls, roofs, floors, besides choice and placement of furniture and other indoor objects, lighting, and control of visual and sound effects, and anything that adds to the style and usability of the built environment. No Building these days can be said to be complete without interior design having good furniture, false ceilings as required, artifacts, plants and textural / color manipulation. hence this profession has become very lucrative :–
Eligibility - 12th passed from recognized board in any steam Arts, Science, Commers.
